new york entertainment internships
how can i get a summer job at an entertainment place (NBC,MTV…)? i’m a high school graduate, and i’m 18.
i want to get a job over the summer at NBC or MTV or a different television/entertainment network. i am 18, and am graduating from high school this year. the only problem is that most places say u need to be a sophomore in college, which i am not. are there any other places like NBC or MTV in the New York area that i can look into? also, is there any other job/internship that is similar to this?
i do not know which field of entertainment i am particularly interested in… but i want to learn about all of it, and then decide afterwards 
i’m not looking to BE on tv… so i do not see how casting calls would help…
i want to learn the “behind the scenes” stuff because i can really imagine myself working on set design, or technical aspects, or making sure everything runs smoothly…
search for casting calls on google…i believe a good site is backstage.com
