Accommodation and not near the JFK airport for a day?
My boyfriend and I have a stopover at JFK airport in early January. We flew approximately 6 hours and 8 hours of flight. We are seeking a hotel near the airport (preferably with transport service) is good but not expensive, and we would not be here long. So Where should we go to dinner that night. Nothing expensive but good food. None of us have ever been to New York and we are in our mid 20s. Any suggestions for hotels, restaurants, activities, and the best way to travel? Thank you.
Not even leave the airport! Seriously, JFK is the road, miles and miles and miles of nowhere, so staying in a hotel at the airport and dinner at this hotel, because, believe me, there is nothing of value to leave the airport, and not enough time to go around the city of New York and back, sorry.
