nyc happy hour thursday
Any not too crowded bars downtown Manhattan for Happy Hour?
I am getting together with around 25 former co-workers on a Thursday night in December and am looking for a bar for all of us to meet at for happy hour.
Would prefer a place not too crowded so we can mingle and have space to catch up.
Prefer downtown/Wall Street area since that’s where we used to all work but am open to other ideas in NYC.
Ideally would want to be able to eat finger food at the bar.
Don’t want/need a private room, just a place for all of us to congregate.

The bad news is that any bar during the christmas holidays will be packed with happy hour celebrants.
My suggestion is to plan ahead, get there early (6 pm or a tad earlier) and call prior to your get together to see if you can “arrange” for your group. Many bars can accomodate a larger group.
