What good, poor or non-fashion world, a pub in New York, not far from the theater district?

We are looking for a bar to drink few drinks after the show. We are * not * The bar of many types of gadgets and the "Hawaiian Tropic Zone" is our worst nightmare. However, we do not want to go somewhere where girls drink choco-tinis thin and coke in the bathroom floor. Somewhere in the woods somewhere with a good beer (even beer?) Somewhere below Central Park and downtown from above. Is that too much to ask? : We) were in New York once before and liked the atmosphere in the East Village, but found that McSorley was too crowded and tourism, and the bar was full of the KGB (sorry to say) the layers were there to be seen. Place tea in Chelsea Piers was dead and boring, and bars just seem like a policeman. thanks for your help!

Since then McSorley’s has seen a long line of famous patrons suc…

These books, which form the bulk of current writing, always make you feel as if you had paid for looking into the wrong end of a telescope. Mitchell, on the other hand, likes to start with an unimportant hero, but he collects all the fac…
