College Grad now?
I am currently a college graduate with a degree in business and at the same time I start my own business as soon as I know there are steps to be taken. I wonder what I should do next. I want to start a print graphic design / But I do not know how to enter in the industry. I do not mind starting at the bottom of a company and work my way up. I have no formal education in graphic design with the exception some courses in college and learned everything myself (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc) what to do now … Everyone asks me what I do now that college is one and I feel the extra pressure. Anyone ideas or suggestions .. I live in Jersey, which is very close to New York. thanks in advance
Hello, congratulations on your studies! I think you must first join a company and stay with them for some time and learn the principles of business, make money, then create your own. I would not advise a newly graduate of the University to jump to the right on opening a business right on. There are a lot of time and money involved, and you are so young and have time to learn and progress in the field of business in the first place, so they are buying a successful business sense when you are ready to open for business. Good luck. I am a recent graduate too much and the labor market is devilishly bad right now. Keep your head up!
