I am a disabled single woman was seeking a minimum income of a one-bedroom apartment since 2004.?

Receipt Security Disability Social. I'm on the housing list since 2004 New York City. I very poor health. more than 30% of my income goes to rent a room each month in New York. I live on the 5th floor have great difficulty climbing stairs due to bronchitis and arthritis of the knees. I eleigible paid home help, but can not receive help until I'm in my own apt. Politicians do not answer my letters. Housing Authority does nothing, even when I was on the street in 2004, told the homeless not a priority and that Article 8 does not exist is not true to choose to whom they give the applications. My doctors have medical reports sign my problems i need surgury in my spine and can not find affordable housing that can get the care needed after surgury PLEASE need help? Thanks
